The UD-6950PDH utilizes DisplayLink technology to offer dual 4K 60Hz monitor support for HDMI, DisplayPort, or a combination of both. An excellent option for adding two extra screens to your computer, even if it might otherwise only support one—like first-generation M1 MacBooks. Pair that with 100W charging, 5x USB 3.0 ports, SD and microSD card readers, audio in and out ports, and an Ethernet port, because you can’t always count on WiFi in this place. All connected by a single USB-C cord back to your laptop.
4K Your Way
The biggest hurdle to hop when picking a docking station is finding one with ports that match your monitors. It’d also be nice if the dock didn’t play favorites between Windows and Mac. The UD-6950PDH gets rid of the guesswork—and the dongles—with two HDMI ports and two DisplayPort ports. Standardize on one, or mix and match.
And of course, both of your monitors will reach resolutions up to 4K@60Hz. If you’re going to use a high-resolution monitor, you're going to need a docking station with a high refresh rate to take advantage of all those pixels. The UD-6950PDH is compatible with link. Just a heads up, you will need to download the DisplayLink Manager application to get full functionality for macOS devices.
