Add two 4K HDMI or DisplayPort displays (or a single 5K display!) to your Windows laptop with our new UD-6950H USB 3.0 Dual 4K Display Horizontal Docking Station.
After releasing our first horizontal docking station earlier this year (the UD-3900H), we received customer feedback requesting a higher-end model with support for dual displays beyond 1080P. And we listened. Today we’re releasing the UD-6950H (available immediately in the US, and in the weeks ahead globally), with support for dual displays at resolutions up to 4K@60Hz, using any combination of DisplayPort and HDMI displays.
The additional space provided by the horizontal dock orientation combined with the flexibility of the DisplayLink DL-6950 chip allowed us to address one of the key issues we encounter whenever we’re designing a new graphics product: whether to choose DisplayPort or HDMI ports. Because the DL-6950 chip can natively output DisplayPort and HDMI signaling, we were able to include both dual DisplayPort ports and dual HDMI ports without needing to add expensive additional chips or adapters. Simply plug in your two displays to the UD-6950H’s DP ports, HDMI ports, or one of each; there is no additional hardware configuration needed or adapters to purchase separately.
